The 20 Wiltshire areas with the lowest Covid rates

These are the areas in Wiltshire with the lowest infection rates.

Cases of coronavirus have been on the decline thanks to the impact of lockdown restrictions.

In some parts of the county, there are fewer than three infections.

Data for these areas is suppressed to protect the privacy of individuals.

The figures from Public Health England are shown on a map on the Government coronavirus dashboard, which breaks down infections in England into small areas with a population of around 7,200 called Super Middle Output Areas (MSOAs).

For each MSOA, the map shows the number of cases in the past week, increases or decreases compared to the week before and the rate of cases per 100,000 people.

These are the areas in Wiltshire with rates lower than 50 per 100,000, based on data from the week to February 6:

  • Sutton Benger, Kington & Biddestone (7 cases; +2 on previous week; rolling rate of 93.6)
  • Calne North (10 cases; same as previous week; rolling rate of 92)
  • Corsham, Bowerhill & Lacock (12 cases; same as previous week; rolling rate of 89.2)
  • Durrington & Bulford (5 cases; -9 on previous week; rolling rate of 80.8)
  • Melksham North (6 cases; -4 on previous week; rolling rate of 78.9) 
  • Great Wishford, Woodford Valley & Porton (5 cases; -1 on previous week; rolling rate of 78.1) 
  • Wilton, Nadder & Ebble (8 cases; same as previous week; rolling rate of 77.7) 
  • Bradford-on-Avon (7 cases; same as previous week; rolling rate of 69.9) 
  • Ramsbury, Ogbournes & Avebury (6 cases; -3 on previous week; rolling rate of 69.5) 
  • Winsley, Westwood & Holt (4 cases; +1 on previous week; rolling rate of 68.8)
  • Whaddon, Whiteparish & Winterslow (5 cases; -14 on previous week; rolling rate of 62.9) 
  • Wylye Valley (4 cases; -2 on previous week; rolling rate of 62.1) 
  • Devizes West (3 cases; same on previous week; rolling rate of 48)
  • Marlborough (4 cases; -5 on previous week; rolling rate of 46.9) 
  • Steeple Ashton, North Bradley & Southwick (3 cases; -3 on previous week; rolling rate of 43.6)
  • Royal Wootton Bassett Town (3 cases; -9 on previous week; rolling rate of 39.9)
  • Box, Colerne & Rudloe (3 cases; -4 on previous week; rolling rate of 37.8) 
  • Market Lavington & Bishops Cannings (3 cases; -5 on previous week; rolling rate of 36.7) 
  • Dilton Marsh & Bratton (fewer than 3 cases) 
  • Bowerhill, Atworth & Whitley (fewer than 3 cases)
