Richard Gagg, Salisbury Reds operations manager, said nobody was injured, but the decision has again been taken to suspend some stops.
Buses are now following a diversion and are not currently stopping at Coronation Rd, Tournament Rd, St Michael’s Rd or Herbert Road.
Increased police presence
Richard added: “We are reviewing CCTV in a bid to identify the perpetrators, and are being assisted by police – who are increasing their presence in the area. We will reinstate the service as soon as we can.
“I would like to apologise for this inconvenience, but the safety of our customers and drivers is paramount.”
Only this morning, Bemerton councillor Caroline Corbin told the Journal the culprits responsible for the first attack should be aware their “reckless and dangerous” actions could have posed a “potential danger to life”.
Cllr Corbin said she was “saddened” by “deliberate attempts” to “cause damage to buses and cars on Bemerton Heath”.
Wiltshire Police has been contacted for comment.
